    UN Geodata is a worldwide geospatial dataset compiled by the United Nations to support cartographic production and mapping practices consistent with UN standards. It includes geometries, attributes, and labels necessary for accurate depiction of global administrative areas, boundaries, and populated places. The geospatial datasets here included are referred to as UN Geodata and are suitable at the scale of 1:5 million and more. The UN Geodata is prepared in the context of the Administrative Instruction on the \u201cGuidelines for the Publication of Maps\u201d and should serve national and regional mapping.<\/span><\/p>
